How to pick the perfect soundtrack for our title sequence

The two soundtracks we chose so far..

Choosing the soundtrack wasn't a lengthy process. I was quite familiar with music composition as i watch quite alot films from a variety of different cultures.After watching them we found a soundtrack that we were very fond of it. 


These are the chosen soundtracks because we thought it would suit the setting and tone of film. We first experimented with these soundtracks by embedding them into final cut pro to see what they would sound like. Initially they weren't going to be used as not everyone in the group was fond of it and they didn't suit the scene the way we wanted it to look. However with some editing and audio filters it sounded perfect.
